Primarily a fishing village due to its strategic location as the source of the River Nile, Africa's longest river, Jinja has grown to be a buzzing city in eastern Uganda. It is located 81km from the capital Kampala, and has been famed for being an adrenaline junkie hub offering an array of activities to travelers, including white water rafting, kayaking, bungee jumping and horse riding.
