Angama, a lodge divided into two adjacent camps of just 15 tented suites each, is perched on the edge of The Great Rift Valley Escarpment overlooking the Mara Triangle with views that stretch as far as the eye can see, across the Maasai Mara, set 300 metres below.
The rare beauty of the lodge brings out an almost dreamlike effect of being somewhere 'between heaven and earth' having guests instantly connect with the romance of the setting, where some of the loveliest scenes from the movie Out of Africa were filmed. The lodge is strategically located a mere 10-minute drive from the Maasai Mara National Reserve's entrance.
